    Lizzie McGuire

    Heh.

    Oh my goodness. I was watching Lizzie McGuire the movie on Disney channel earlier (I know, I was bored). And all of a sudden I found myself singing to the tunes on the show.
    So walk a little slower and open up your eyes/Sometimes it's so hard to see the good things passing by/There may never be a sign, no flashing neon lights... (okay fine I can't remember what goes after this)

    Why not (Why not) take a crazy chance/Why not (why not) do the crazy dance..
    Two of my closest ever friends from sec 1 and 2, the three of us used to take turns to sing a line off that tune. As embarrassing as it is, especially since it's off a teen flick and horror of all horrors, it's by Hilary Duff, I found it so, so nostalgic! Those memories are just crazy I don't ever wanna forget them!

    I can't believe I'm doing all this without referring to a single lyrics site. It's been two years. I remember the time going to Audrey's place, and we went to her gym and it was so funny. And she showed off her limited knowledge of piano skills. And I borrowed her ever pirated Lizzie McGuire the Movie.

    And every now and then, during recess or while walking about after playing badminton together, Audrey, Elise and I would be randomly picking a Hilary Duff song to sing and we would take turns to sing a line of it with invisible microphones shoved in each other's face. Oh my goodness, we were so retarded.

    It was a perfect Friends Forever moment, except the three of us split up into three separate classes in sec 3 due to the different humanities subject chosen. Everyone thought it was so coincidental that we were split up into the first three classes, all 3 of us. Fate has it that none of us should be in the same class. Growl, fate.

    But gosh that's so weird. Starting to think of what happened 2 years back when things were so innocent and we memorised Hilary Duff song lyrics! (You two, if you're reading this, you owe me a date after this week, I swear. We should start playing badminton again!) Well, it's not all about wasting an hour-ish on flipping channels on TV, is it? :)

    oh i still have the entire stack of postcards on my table. of which 90% were written by you. :p haha.

    remember how we were "Awwww-ing" at the last part when um..Gordo(is that his name?) and lizzie kissed?

    oh my god how long ago was that?

    i think we have to face it. as much as some people diss her, i think almost everybody wishes that they're hilary duff deep down inside. no? she is little miss perfect. oh come on dont be shy! lol

    plus, you'll get to meet joel too. :p

    *grin* i watched it yesterday afternoon ;) yeah and we were soooo delighted to finally see gordo get his waaay overdue affection from lizzie. hahaha. that's 2 years back, hun!

    think she's grown a lot eh? though she sounds the same. cough. joel madden is the biggest plus factor. hahaha

    i admit that i diss hilary duff. but it's not that i don't like her or her songs, it's that i don't think she deserves all this attention. i do think she's pretty and i admire that she hasn't broken down from all the stuff people say about her. it's just that there are much more talented people. ironically, it's all the dissing that propelled her to fame.

    haha the dvd is MINE and i do not remember the microphone thing. anyway, audrey started the whole singing thing. *cough* and sound of music was her fault too!

    haha loved sec 2. we still talk and stuff. it's not like we're strangers or anything. still good friends right? yes we HAVE to go out. 5 more days!!!
